1. Do you perform solo flute performances?

Solo flute can be offered in certain settings, but it is generally not our ideal format. Without accompanying musicians, the performance can feel somewhat sparse—much like having a singer perform without a supporting band. We recommend our instrumental ensembles for a fuller, richer and more engaging musical experience.

2. Do you perform outside India?

Yes, we perform worldwide and are available for international weddings, corporate events, private celebrations and destination events.

3. Do you need a license for live music performances?

Yes, a live music license may be required for events. For weddings, the applicable license is generally free, while corporate events may involve licensing charges. We can assist with arranging the required license for your event.

4. Do your charges include sound, stage and lighting?

No. Sound, stage and lighting are generally arranged separately by the client. We provide a complete technical rider with all the required specifications. If preferred, we can also arrange the sound system for your performance at an additional charge.

5. Do you have a singer?

No. The Flute Stories is an exclusively instrumental band. Our performances focus on the Indian Bollywood music flute blended with live instrumental arrangements.

6. Which languages can you communicate in?

We communicate in English, Hindi and Marathi.

7. What occasions are instrumental bands ideal for?

Our instrumental band is particularly well suited for wedding receptions and corporate events. We also perform at destination weddings, private celebrations, gala dinners, cocktail evenings, exhibitions and cultural events.
